looks like i missed the time.. 07/07/07..nice number.. so on this date.. there's a series of concerts ie LIVE EARTH being held across 9 cities/7 continents to help spread the message: Save the Earth.

caught some performaces and short films.. i must say it is a good effort and yes, it is needed to remind ppl that the problem with climate change is imminent.. short clips on how we can play small roles.. very very small actions in saving the earth.. so insignificant that sometimes we juz forget it'll amount to alot..

some clips are really creative.. others show the very reality behind global warming: people who depend on jobs that'll cause global warming.. it is not that they want to cut the trees down.. it is not that they want to contribute to the greenhouse gases.. it is simply.. for survival.. very often they are people from the 3rd world countries. so. all the more, developed countries really should provide aid to them.. help change their lifestyles so that there won't be any jobs that will harm the earth..

from Live Earth.. it is ez to see how much influence the west has globally.. even the date.. 7 is the lucky number for the westerners.. so could it be because of this number that they've decided to have it on 07.07.07? and the ang moh artistes get to perform across the 9 cities.. while peeps like the 12-Girls Band, some jap bands only get to perform locally.. i'm sure the 12-girls band is gd enough to perform elsewhere.. nt saying it's nt a glam thing to perform at your own country la..

but.. the 气氛 is higher in the ang moh countries.. look at sydney and shanghai.. the aussies were jumping.. the ah-hem were seated comfortably.. kinda.. 平静.. wat a contrast..

anywayz.. i better stop rattling on.. juz wanna say:
Save the Earth.
Save man kind.
Save yourself.

oh wait wait.. transformers is really cool.. gotta catch it.. ok.. maybe other ppl may nt find it fantastic.. but i think the plot is new.. and it's action-packed.. and when it's nt action.. it'll be smart funny lines.. maybe some will say: see machines fight each other only wat.. but do u see humanity in the machines? the only minus pt is that they portrayed humans to be of a 'lower grade' than the machines.. but perhaps.. we're nt that great after all.. juz watch it la..

woots.. received the acceptance letters from tsinghua already.. so beijing 我去定了！haiz.. needa settle a lot of things liao.. wanted to go beijing earlier.. but accomodation might be a prob.. wateva..
