i really hafta thank my great bunch of 'chef-aspiring'(at least for tonight) friends for coming up with their very own menu.. whipping up a 4-course dinner.. and most importantly.. the food's edible!!!! wahaha!!
ally, eunice, op and shiv designed a 5-part birthday surprise.. 1) to guess the items for the 4-course dinner 2) get the stuff and cook 3)custom-designed cake and candles at the void deck 4) games 5) the presents.. & shiv, for coming specially w the cake..
cooking's never ever ez.. especially for ppl like us.. who seldom step into the kitchen to cook.. the best stuff we can ever get out of the pot is prolly.. instant noodles?? funny incidents happened.. we haf ppl dancing and singing as they start preparation.. we also haf someone giving directions.. and someone adding SALT instead of SUGAR.. wahaha!! anywayz.. dinner really is satisfying!! A** for that!
a celebration away from the crowd on this day is definitely the best way to surprise me.. it felt like we're back in time.. back to the time when we did things together.. birthday will nv be a birthday w/o yall..
as for jess, edith, ys, mx.. thanks for counting down to my birthday with me.. the peranakan dinner was terrific.. the trek up dempsey hill (tho not intended)was tiring.. but nevertheless we conquered it.. and the weird excuses yall came up trying to get me away from the table while yall got the cake out.. and the wrong estimation of time.. it was still great to spend the last few hrs of my 22nd year.. and the 1st hr of my 23rd yr with yall..
all in all.. i juz wanna say.. thanks for being there.. for gg the extra mile for me.. we will have many miles ahead of us..
thankful for having a great bunch of frenz.. & they r nt just these few whom i've mentioned here..
